This is the color "Blue Fifteen" from the "Old Pigments" series by SOLID INK, a Miami-based company in the United States.
Old Pigments" has a total of 10 colors, and they dare to use "old-fashioned pigments" in high concentration to reproduce the tattoo colors of the good old days.
The emphasis in this series is on pigments that are stable in color, and that will not fade when exposed to sunlight or UV rays, and that will keep their vivid colors on the skin. These are formulated using a process and proprietary blend based on years of experience.
*This product does not comply with the EU's REACH regulation, which newly came into effect in 2022-January 2023, and is therefore banned in 27 countries in the European Union (EU). Please be aware of this!
Blue Fifteen (BLUE 15)
Blue pigment has been a staple in tattoo inks since the first introduction of blue, but now it has become the "infamous blue ink" because BLUE 15:3 pigment is on the banned list under the newly implemented REACH Regulation in the EU. There is no data to suggest that BLUE 15:3 is toxic or harmful. However, there was also no clear scientific data that it was safe. The use of this pigment is now banned in the EU, but the timeless and classically appealing blue is attracting attention for its future movement.
