The disposable "Absorbent Pad" for tattoos is a type of dressing material that does not stick to the skin, unlike adhesive films.
After the tattoo procedure, wash the skin thoroughly to remove any residue of green soap, etc., and gently wipe off any moisture with a paper towel, then place the white side of the pad on the tattoo side and the black side on the front side.
The pad does not have any adhesive, so once the pad is in place, please apply surgical tape to hold it firmly in place to prevent it from shifting.
The white side is made of perforated polyethylene film with high absorbency, which absorbs excess exudate and ink and maintains an appropriately moist environment without drying the skin. It also protects the tattoo from external irritants such as bacteria, germs, UV rays, and dirt until the client returns home. There is no risk of rubbing against clothing or of leachate hardening and sticking to clothing.
The absorbent pad is thin and lightweight and does not put pressure on the treatment area. In addition, the polyethylene film does not stick to the affected area, reducing pain when peeling it off.
