This is a special container that complies with international safety standards for the safe storage and disposal of infectious waste, such as used needles.
Sharp objects such as needles, even unused or sterilized ones, must be labeled with the yellow biohazard mark when stored or transported. Furthermore, transportation and disposal of these items may only be performed by contractors licensed by the respective prefectures.
Boxes are available in 1-liter, 2-liter, and 7-liter sizes, depending on the number of tattooists in the studio and the amount of waste. Please dispose of used needles at least once a year. The container can be labeled with the date of installation and other necessary information.
The containers are made of polypropylene, a material that is resistant to penetration and impact. The top lid can be lightly closed for temporary fastening. When disposing of the container, the top lid can be locked by pushing it in, and once locked, it cannot be opened again, preventing accidental needlesticks after use.
